With the frigid weather on the east coast, I was up for a little change of scenery. It didn’t hurt that San Diego is one of the most laid back cities I’ve ever been to, and honestly, it was much needed. It was our first time out there, so expect a lot of touristy recommendations below.
Coffee Shops/Breakfast Spots:
- Herb & Eatery (must try the avo toast)
- Juice Crafters for their acai bowls.
- Communal Coffee, do you love flowers and coffee? Then you’ll love this place.
- Rustic Root for their rooftop brunch. They have the most tasty champagne bar cart!
Cocktails/Restaurants:
- Kettner Exchange (you must get the tuna tartar pizza)
- Don Chid0
- Wonderland Ocean Pub, beautiful view of the beach.
- Ranchos Cocina, the best vegan cilantro sour cream, ever.
Places:
- Coronado Beach
- La Jolla Cove (for the seals!)
- Sunset Cliffs National Park, for the sunsets of course.
- Balboa Park
- You have to try the breweries, San Diego has 100+ of them.
I’ll definitely be going back. More recommendations? Comment below!
